ENERGISE Centre
The ENERGISE Centre is an African-German academic partnership dedicated to advancing a Just Energy Transition in South Africa through education, research and innovation. It promotes new perspectives and practical solutions in renewable energy, governance and sustainable entrepreneurship.
Led by Professor Dr. Frank-Martin Belz, the Centre connects institutions in South Africa and Germany to foster knowledge exchange and address key energy transition challenges. As Chair of Corporate Sustainability at TUM, Prof. Dr. Belz is an internationally recognized expert in sustainable entrepreneurship and energy-related development, bringing extensive expertise in research, teaching and international academic cooperation.
